The Island of Misfits is Actually MY HOME!

Well, I took piggydog to the vet today. Keep in mind that we've had her less than 2 years. In that time span, we've had her spayed, all her shots done, dewormed, all that jazz. Then we paid 400 bucks to have her anal glands removed bc they were bothering her. Okay, I can see that. Then we took her back to the vet bc her eyes were tearing up too much. Turns out little pup has allergies. Okay so the vet gives her shots and pills, everything is good. Then the allergies start up again. So we go back to the vet bc of the allergies and she has to get on steroids and get a shot in her little throat. YOWSERS! At this point she is probably worth more than all of our combined assets.

So I take her in today bc her tush is still bothering her (even after the 400 dollar surgery!). You are going to love this. Seriously, are you sitting down? The vet examines her and says to me that my dog has a BUTT ALLERGY! Nope, I am not @*&&^#$% you. It is true. My dog has a butt allergy that requires a shot in her hip every month. Sweet sassy molassy!

I am an immunocompromised castle of chronic illness, my hubby is old as dirt, and our dog has butt allergies. Don't even get me started on how we had to have our fish put down last year. Really. I don't think anything else can be said. Just sit down and take it all in. Just breathe & take it all in.
