I made it to 26 years-old!!!

I left the house around 2 yesterday to go pick up some baby stuff. In order to do this, I had to get on the local military base. Not a problem, right? WRONG!!!!!! Not only did I have to have my car and identity checked, but I was also schooled in the art of parking perfectly straight by a lovely man with large guns. So, I parked the car perfectly straight just so I could ask this lovely gent for directions. Normally, my mouth would have taken control of the situation. However, the large machine guns the man was carrying around like a man-purse seemed sufficient to keep the old mouth closed. But for my trouble, I did get a baby bathtub and a changing pad and some wax tarts. Yeah! However, the man who checked my driver's license did make a comment about my age. It was one of those "you don't look a day over 22" type comments, harmless, but considering that I am only just 26, it was a bit of a downer. Oh well, I have accepted my fate as an old soul whose body is trying to catch up.
As far as the birthday celebration goes, Glenn and I had a great dinner last night. We then came back to the house and watched the tele before bed. It was an uneventful night, the perfect end to a crazy day. Of course, someone (NOT ME) had to work on his MAPP homework last night because he had put it off for so long. Who is making fun of my 22 page autobiography now baby! Dang, that is good. And tonight is the last night of MAPP class. YEAH!!!! We are getting closer and closer to a munchkin in the house!!!!
