Well, last night was the last night of MAPP class. Everyone had to get up and give a speech about what they learned through the last 10 weeks before getting their certification. Of course, Glenn and I did not actually get certified, we just got a certificate of attendance until the missed class is made up. But our SW is going to make it up with us privately, so that will be great. They really piled all the work on us last night. They gave us a list of 28 additional things that need to be done before we actually have children. But in the same breath, she also said that as soon as the paperwork begins to work through the system, we would be getting calls because the demand for foster parents is so high.
We still have to get medical exams, a fire inspection, and the home study. We also have to change the locks on our doors to comply with the fire inspection. If we can just get all that jazz done, we will be ~~~~~~GOLDEN~~~~~~. We have a few other household projects to get done before the study, but if Glenn can stay motivated, it will get done soon. Okay, off to watch School of Rock, a very funny movie the old sis gave for my bday. Have a fabu weekend all! Beth
