Maybe I spoke too soon...

Well, another day, another call to the old Embarq. But now I am back in the saddle, cruisin' the internet. Woooohooooooo! Let's see. Since last posting, my sweet Glenn had his 48th birthday! And no birthday is complete without a fun scavenger hunt for presents, followed by a date at the movies to see "My Super Ex-Girlfriend". The movie really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and actually, it was pretty good. Instead of a romantic dinner for two, Glenn went for the old Soda/Jumbo Popcorn dinner of champions. Combine that with arcade games (including pinball Elvis!) and you got some good times!

My bestest sis started a new job this week, and we are sending happy thoughts to her as she struggles to find her niche in the new position. GOOD LUCK SIS!!! Keep your head up pal! LOVE YA!!!


In other news, it is raining like there is no tomorrow here, and it has been for some time. And after a quick run to the Taco Bell for some lunch, I had one of those times where you look around for the camera crew, thinking that perhaps I had been punked. Due to the slippery rain everywhere, I first ran over a curb and proceded to overturn my large Sweet Tea (no ice) all over my car and upholstery. There is nuttin' like swimming in extremely sweet and sticky tea, in the comfort of your own car. After using up all my napkins on the tea spill, I then attempted to walk up to my house and slipped on the legs of my sweatpants. No serious harm done. UNTIL I reached the living room and slipped on the hardwood floor and fell headfirst into the loveseat. I looked around to see if anyone had seen me and only the dog was there to laugh at me. However, since this isn't the first time this week that I have fallen in my own home, I feel that the dog may be digging through her toy baskets and strategically placing her bones/toys around for me to trip over.
