Priorities

I think the new year (along with all the wonderful bills from last year), helps folks put things into perspective. As we trudge along the happy road to destiny (and credit card repayment), I think it is a perfect time to prioritize. What's on your top 5 list? Here's mine.
1. Chocolate - non negotiable. This is a sanity saver AND a marriage counselor all in one. Whether it's milk, dark, white, or with nuts, it's a beautiful thing, chocolate, so make sure you have some stashed.
2. Telephone - This can be a wonderful means of contacting family/friends, but it may require chocolate. Use corresponding amounts of chocolate to the levels of dsyfunction of said family.
3. Music - ESSENTIAL!!! Music moves my soul. Thanks to the wonders of the public library, you can now check out music CDs for free and listen to them as you putt around town. It's a very good thing.
4. Meds - Blah, blah, blah. So the hubby doesn't have any more heart attacks & I will try to get my Crohn's under control. Necessity. Freaking-expensive necessity, but oh well.
5. Dog food. Note - Dog food is very important if you own a dog, but not so much if you don't. You want to always have lots of dog food (or suitable people food) on hand for your dog. This is extremely important so that your pleasant pet pup won't go all animal instinct on ya and eat you while you sleep. Very important indeed!
