Picture.com
I, like many others, harbor a secret wish for a wonderful gift of talent. When I entered a photography contest at picture.com, I was secure in the knowledge that I had done my best by submitting a photo, and I could rest easy as I wait for my talent to appear. Today, when I got an acceptance letter in the mail with my submitted pic embedded in the letter, I was thrilled. But I was also cautious and wary of a scam. And after just a bit of internet research, I have found that picture.com is most probably a scam. At this site, it got a rating of .5 out of 5. That is right. It got a half of a point out of a five point scale. Very disappointing. Based on my research, it seems that the folks at picture.com have tricked both young and old out of pride and money. Teenagers were scammed, as well as proud parents, pet owners, and other ordinary folks like you and me. So, while you wait for your true talent to appear, just be careful and let your work inspire YOU, the way it is meant to. Have a great day! Beth

You have plenty of talents. For example, spotting scams and being wary of strangers is a talent that we should all have. Plus, you can take a good picture too!
P.S. - I think your blog looks really nice. You are quite the designer these days. I'll have to update mine soon!
