Weekends
Weekends are good for a lot of things. We started off by attending the 25th Dogwood Festival, with a VIP tag that the hubby's company snagged in exchange for sponsorship. With the said VIP pass, we were able to drink and eat unlimited amounts of delish catered food, including but not limited to various spiced kabobs o' meat, fresh fruit dipped in dark chocolate, veggies, berries, cheeses, etc. All of the food was very tasty, but not too stomach-friendly. After figuring out that we would be spending the evening home, my husband began his endeavor to create a costume for the dog for tomorrow's Best Costume/Best Trick in the local dog show. And so here comes the interesting fact for today. Apparently, the little Ellybelly has a chest bigger than a 36D and a waist that is larger than a ladies size 11. Hound doggies are not the easiest dog to dress. Quote of the evening "We need to go to the thrift store tomorrow (to buy the dog a costume)". Take that & run with it, however the spirit moves you. Pics to follow.
