What a week!
This last week has been full of fun activities & wonderful whimsy. NOT. *Watch the offensive & funny movie Borat in order to fully understand the "not joke"* Today, I had a tough decision to make. Hanging around the house & feeling ill? Or going to the library to refresh my diminishing collection of unread books and feeling ill? This AM my library was less than 100 pages worth of reading and my stomach was screaming that the day would require much more than that. So, I opted for the library visit. And afterwards, when I pulled over (because I felt like I was going to vomit & didn't want to mess the car), I foolishly put the car in Park. Ha Ha! For most, this would have been fine, but my car doesn't always come out of Park, as easy as she goes in. I called the hubby, who walked me through a series of solutions involving contradictions to the laws of physics and horrible contortions with my not so limber body. After scraping several toes rather severely, (they were on the cusp of bleeding) I told Glenn it wasn't working, and he came to my rescue. He is a true parking-lot hero. After following me home, then going back out to get me dinner, Glenn called the car parts place, bought the new thing, and installed it in the car before going to an interview. I then played a horrible game of answer the phone, run to the bathroom. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Try not to scream with pure insanity. Repeat. The situation called for a crazy new dessert called Wendy's frosty float, per Glenn, and once again, dairy, did in fact, save the day. Hug a cow if you have one in your vicinity.
