Beth is back in the HIZOUSE! And d&*%! This house is a gigantic disorganized holy terror of a mess!!! N.B. I left for Richmond last Saturday and returned last night, hence the lack of housekeeping. There are full bags of trash throughout the house, with some rooms having TWO full trash cans! Can you even imagine what the neighbors would say!!! Just a couple steps from the front door, there are "clean" ??? clothes in the laundry basket that haven't been folded. There is also a load of clothes that have been in the washer since Tuesday. Today is FRIDAY, many days since the
alleged washing took place. There are a sink full of dirty dishes (soaking, the hubby will no doubt say). The dog has strewn her toys & bones everywhere, so that each step you take
could prove quite painful. The mail has been opened, then apparently, kindly piled high atop the computer desk. During the last six years of our cohabitation, said hubby has clearly forgotten how to deal with documents, insurance info, and bills. And, as a cherry to top it all off, there are half-completed man projects all over the house, making a snake of tiny metal objects in my home. I am NOT a happy camper. So far today, I took out all the trash, and have sprayed Lysol very liberally where needed. I unpacked all my suitcases and the car and put items back where they belong. I folded all the clean clothes and put them away, in the bedroom, where our dressers live. I am still doing many, many loads of laundry, and I have managed to deal with the mail properly. Note for future reference ~ bills are opened, excess paperwork shredded & chucked in trash, then the bill is physically put in my billpay planner (bright red folder marked BILLPAY PLANNER) with notation regarding due date. It's that easy. Anything else is put in folder marked TO BE FILED. Heck, a child could do it. Grumble, grumble, grouch. However, after checking up on one of my fav sites ever, I have found this beautiful little bit of sunshine to guide me through my cleaning. Enjoy it, as I have.
Brittney.
I stepped on a dandelion and cried for all the wishes that could have come true, if only I had taken the time to walk around.
