Cancer
Hubby is undergoing treatment for cancer, internal radiation after finishing 25 days of regular radiation. And everyone that we've met who works in the oncology clinic and everyone who is a patient of the clinic has been great. The people talk to one another, even people who are there for the first time. People ask one another how they are doing, they talk about the great weather, and they drink coffee together. All while waiting to get treatment. It is a pretty cool phenomenon and unlike anything I've ever encountered. So to all the folks out there who are undergoing cancer treatment, thanks for being kind. Thanks for asking me how I was when I cried the first few doc visits. Thanks for keeping an eye on each other and caring about one another. Thanks for letting your humanity show. Much appreciated!
