Obstruction moved at 10 am!!!!

Horrible night, truly unpleasant. I finally felt the obstruction move this morning at 10. Between the pain and the rotten dog that was being ridiculously needy, I am in desperate need of some snooze time. But for now, I am up again, starting a new day. May not make it too long before I nap, but I am up now. I have a bazillion things to do that probably won't get done but oh well. I also have an upcoming appt. With a Crohn's surgeon in Feb. He will be checking me to see if I am a candidate for a take-down surgery (ie remove the ostomy and return my parts to their normal places and functions). Of course, this comes at a terrible time for me bc I am trying to finish my foster parent classes. I should be done in March sometime with the classes. But if I have to go through another abdominal surgery, there is no way I could take care of a child. The recovery time on that operation is going to be a while, not to mention the lifting limitations. Argghhhh!!! But I may be getting ahead of myself. I don't know if the problems that I am having with my guts will be "cured" by the surgery or made worse by it. I don't even know if I am a candidate yet. There are a number of tests that I have to go thru with the surgeon to figure that out (muscle tone, etc). Okay, enough ranting for now. I will focus on what is in front of me right now and see how long I make it through the day.

Glad to hear of the progress this morning. I received a surprise shipment of flowers this morning, from one of those men who has not yet been cured of his love for me. I will fill you in later.
Love you!
