Progress made!!!

Well, I worked my butt off these last couple of days and finished all my foster paperwork up to date! Woohooo!!! My profile ending up being 22 pages typed, but I changed the margins and such to make it a mere 17. I received a great amount of "ribbing" at last week's meeting from my peers regarding the depth and detail of my profile. They laughed heartily at my expense. Afterwards I was a bit concerned so I asked the SW and she said the more I write, the less work she has to do. Since we all know that Social Workers have soooooo much free time at work to piddle away, the others can make more work for her! HA!!
So, I did that today, and went and picked up a computer chair from a freecycler today. Her residence was a bit like a scene like Deliverance but I survived! Another plus. I finished my MAPP homework today and got everything ready for tomorrow. I suppose I will pick up a couple loaves of French bread to take to the meeting instead of actually cooking. I wrote down that I would bring biscuits even though Glenn told me not to, and I now agree that is a stupid idea. Nothing else going on. Got a lovely coat from the hubby for VDay that he bought for a buck. My sis got a stuffed ape though so I think we are even.
In prep for the upcoming surgery, I also made a list of books that I would like to read while recuperating. I don't have to be some anal, but I think I enjoy it. Yeah, I do think there is something satisfying in making a good list. Okay, this post is just trailing off to a rambling of nothing, so that's all! Good Night!
