That stands for "In my humble opinion", for you non-computer geeks. I would like to give a shout-out to my sis and her amazing blog called Catch a Falling Cupcake and Put it in Your Pocket, Save it For a Rainy Day found at http://jensmith826.blogspot.com. Good stuff, really. And in the tradition of her post today (free consumer advice), I would like to do the same.
For today's deal of the day, we have the Airwick Automatic Room Spray. This is the one that can be set for different amounts of minutes, and uses batteries to pump your favorite smell into the room automatically. For under a mere 10 bucks, I got the starter kit with batteries and 3 jars of spray, lasting a good month each. This was purchased at an elitist grocery store I frequent called Sam's Club. I picked "sparkling citrus" as the scent and was thoroughly delighted with the whole setup.
Unfortunately, as it often is with wonderful new inventions, there is a negative for every positive. It seems that Sam's Club has made a deal with the devil. Once they provide this wonderous new technology in home fragrance to you, they strip them from their shelves, leading you directly to the black market for Air Wick Refills. You may gasp and wonder "why?". The answer is simple, my friend, moolah. Sam's Club knew that this Air Wick kit would catch on with domestic goddesses the land over, and they are getting a kickback from the black market dealers! Now I don't "know" this per se, but I feel strongly in my gut that this is the cold hard truth of the matter. Please, take a few moments to grieve the loss, and then push yourself towards another day of drugery. You can do it!
