Today has been pretty hot outside, and I enjoy the comforts of being indoor, thus I decided to work on my container planting inside. I just throw a couple of trash bags on the floor, bring my bag o' dirt and gardening supplies in, and get planting! All with the benefits of television and central air. Makes perfect sense to me! No sunscreen needed. So, I worked on those for about an hour and used up all dirt and all my plants. Now I need a trip to the good old Lowes to get some more stuff. My good pal and sis, Jennifer, went to Lowes today and make a lovely box garden on her balcony. Very pretty. Apparently, it was also very motivating, so after I hung up from talking with her, I got busy with my own sad plants.
I really need to stick with easy and extremely hardy plants. So far, the only thing that has really thrived for me this year has been my various ivy plants and my pathos. But I did plant some daisy seeds, so I will see if they come up. But I am taking suggestions for supereasy and superhardy plants. If you know of a plant that thrives on neglect, over/under watering, and little to no food, please let me know.
Pretty, pretty please. :)
