Doctor, Doctor, and more Doctors

Dentist this AM. Went well. Except for the small fact that I have ground my tooth enamel down to almost nuttin'. I find this amazing as I have gotten crowns (in the last 2 years) on my back teeth that get most of the grinding, and I am STILL grinding my way through those suckers as well! I also use a nightguard every single night, but apparently, my muscles love to destroy very expensive dental equiptment regardless of the cost. Oh well! I have another dentist appointment tomorrow to apply some binding stuff to the remains of my enamel. Yeah! I also have another appointment this afternoon to drain a cyst from my Hidradentitis Suppurativa. I have had this particular lump since Thursday, but my dermatologist was closed FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, & MONDAY. Jeeze Louise!!! And of course, they decided that they couldn't work me in yesterday for this large, painful, unpleasant growth on my abdomen. Makes sense to me, I suppose. So, I get a little shot of lidocaine and the cyst is drained. If I am especially lucky today, I may even get a biopsy done on this one. More excitement every single day in my life.

In happier news, I have an upcoming vacation to look forward to Sunday - Thursday with my very favorite sister!!!! We will have a fabu time full of pampering, adventure, and lots of sibling bonding. Something to cheer me through these not-so-happy appointments. ;) HAPPY THOUGHTS... Later, Beth
