Recent Updates

Thursday: Considering my previous preps, I thought the Nulytly was pretty good. I didn't get as sick as I usually do, but I did take some nausea meds before I started the prep. Friday: The actual scope went fair. I took a phenergan in the AM before the scope, then got another 25 mg IV just before the scope. It took a lot of fentyl, but they got me fairly relaxed. I chattered through most of it though, but I don't remember being in a lot of pain. The Doc performing the scope even said it was nice that I did not threaten her life this time. Whoops! I don't remember doing that, but oh well! Afterwards, Glenn and I even went to a thrift store and went out to eat. Although I was a little dehydrated, I felt fine afterwards. Pretty cool, eh? I even got a sweet Air Purifier/Humidifier at the thrift store for $3!! And it was brand spanking new! We got some other stuff too, some cool bottles and vases and the like. Saturday- Monday: This weekend we have been doing some housework and lots of crafty things. We finished up two of the large collage frames and hung those up. We also bought some paint for some other frames that we are going to repaint. Glenn even found a large wooden box that is perfect for a window box for my plants. I am going to paint some stripes on that and put my small starter plants in it. I also found two large tin planters for $12 each at TJ Maxx~what a steal!!! And instead of paying big bucks for those plastic liners, I went to the grocery and bought some disposable heavy duty foil pans. I spent less than $5 on all of those for all my planters, instead of the $40 it would have costs for the plastic plant liners! Dang! I am a swift bargain-hunter. That's about all for now.
